On April 30th, the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) announced the results of the 10th Corporate Governance Evaluation. Two listed companies of Microbio Group, Microbio Co., Ltd. (4128) and Oneness Biotech Co Ltd. (4743), were evaluated as "top 5% of listed companies in the Corporate Governance Evaluation" for three years, achieving the highest honor. In addition, they have both received recognition as the "top 10% of listed companies in the non-finance and non-electronics industry category with a market capitalization of TWD 10 billion or above," demonstrating the outstanding achievements of Microbio Group in corporate governance and sustainable business practices.
The Corporate Governance Evaluation is held annually by the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) and the Taipei Exchange (TPEx). The evaluation has been conducted through a comprehensive evaluation of 80 indicators across four dimensions: protecting shareholder rights and ensuring equal treatment, reinforcing the structure and operation of the board of directors, improving information transparency, and promoting sustainable development. According to the evaluation scores, a total of 754 companies were divided into seven groups of top 5%, 6% to 20%, 21% to 35%, and so forth. Achieving a position in the top 5% signifies the highest recognition in this evaluation.
